Bread shares and tasting event

WHAT: Bread tasting
WHERE: Cedar Mountain Farm Farmstand and CSA pickup location
WHEN: Wednesday, January 25 3:00-4:00
WHY: Cedar Mountain Farm is now offering local bread from Green Mountain Flour. Come see if you want to sign up for a weekly loaf.

Green Mountain Flour is a new local bakery and micro flour mill. They mill local grain in their own stone mill and sell flour, artisan wood-fired bread, pancake mixes and cracked grains for porridge or breads. They have a mobile pizza oven and use the same local, stone-ground flour in our pizza crusts at weddings, birthday parties, farmer's markets and other gatherings.

Cedar Mountain Farm customers can sign up to receive a weekly loaf or monthly installment of flour/grains. The wheat and corn are grown organically right in Windsor VT.
  • Weekly loaf = $18 for four weeks - one fresh loaf a week
  • Bakery share = $52 - for four weeks - two loaves and one small bread weekly (baguette, focaccia, pizza shell are"small breads")
  • Bakers share = $22.20 - monthly installments of 5lb of all-purpose wheat flour and 4 2lb bags of other flours and/or cracked grains
All bread share members get a 10% discount off any additional flour/grain products.

Green Mountain Flour also offers a porridge and breakfast shares (pancake mixes and grits)
